Prestigious winner of the 2020 National Book Critics Circle Award and confirmed asshole Don Markenbaldi just staggered out onto his side lawn wearing his typical pastel polo shirt, shorts, socks, and sandals. As we type he is preparing to water his petunias in that outlandish outfit.
The so-called literary critic has never taken back his remarks about the historical background to ‘Gulliver Soles’, uttered with such pomp and decision at the 2006 symposium, and he is never getting his stupid rake back.
