A note from the artist
I wanted to be a fashion designer before I knew how to write. It was the nineties. McQueen, Galliano, Versace. They were artists, not tailors.
I drew collections on scrap paper. I planned my empires. Then I grew up.
I learned three things. First, I can’t draw. Second, fashion requires money. Third, it requires connections. I had none of these. Now, the only thing from the fashion world that interests me is the cocaine.
Kidding. Mostly.
But The Gorko Gazette likes my stories. So here are my early sketches. The closest I ever got to Paris.
