Titanic Disaster is a true-to-life literal minute-by-minute retelling of the epic tragedy of the RMS Titanic, the 1912 cruise liner that sank in the North Atlantic after striking an iceberg, an event that resulted in more than 1,500 deaths. Director Prisha Patel told The Gorko that she wanted to give viewers something completely different and genuine. When asked if the movie would basically be a three-hour flashback by a survivor in present time that centered on a highly charged love affair between a rich teenaged heiress and penniless stowaway of the lower deck, Patel grew quiet, then said that, no, we had clearly misunderstood what a movie like this is trying to accomplish. She elaborated, ‘Titanic Disaster is a movie about a freak accident aboard a large cruise ship, and the crew and passengers’ frantic struggle for survival in the aftermath. There won’t be any time for kissy-face.’
The lead has already been cast — Filiberto Duggins with his iconic Stella Stevens smirk.
