Everyone’s favorite person in the world and his own greatest fan, my sister’s husband Liam from Nashville, was so grandiloquent and pompous at the Memorial Day picnic that he appeared to attract his own planet. The spinning orb, which entered Liam’s gravitational field at approximately 2:45 pm of the day in question, was first observed by his wife, probably because she was bumped from her own orbit by its sudden appearance.
The planet, onlookers later discovered, was named Sharon.
The sun shone on her continents.
