HE BOUGHT A CHEAP HOUSE IN WEST PEORIA. HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED NEXT

Local resident Marvin Reed and wife Sally Day found themselves trapped in a homeowner’s nightmare after they put a downpayment on this dilapidated firetrap in a trashy part of West Peoria.

‘We really have no idea why we did it,’ Sally told Gorko reporters from the sagging front stoop of the same, as Marvin was fumbling in his pockets for the pizza money. ‘It was like temporary insanity.’

The roof is suffering from extensive water damage and is about to fall in, the wood siding is mostly rotten, and there is black mold in the corners of the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. The worst part is that the shitty drywall, placement of the studs, and hack electrical wiring is not up to code.

At least it FEELS like home, the Gorko reporters tried to say, but apparently the claptrap residence does not feel homey at all.

‘It is just some walls and windows,’ Marvin said. ‘It feels like that movie, Death Bed: The Bed That Eats, except it is a whole house. Death House.’

Marvin and Sally are not scheduled to pay off the Death House until the year 2053.
