ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Mark Blickley grew up within walking distance of New York’s Bronx Zoo and believes pizza contains not only high caloric value but high spiritual value. He is a widely published and produced author and a proud member of the Dramatists Guild and PEN American Center. Amy Bassin is an artist from New York who uses photography, moving images, works on paper,  and collage to explore power struggles, survival, and personal history in relation to current socio-political events.  She is widely exhibited and published both nationally and internationally. Two of her video collaborations with writer Mark Blickley, Speaking In Bootongue and Widow’s Peek: The Kiss of Death, represented the United States in the 2020 year-long international world tour of Time Is Love: Universal Feelings: Myths & Conjunctions, organized by esteemed Togolese-French curator, Kisito Assangni.  She is co-founder of the international artists’ collective, Urban Dialogues. https://www.amybassin.com/   Instagram: @amybassin
