BIODOME RESIDENTS: FOR THE LAST TIME, PLEASE USE INTERCOM TO COMMUNICATE WITH HR, HR IS *NOT* AUTHORIZED TO INTERPRET FRANTIC BODY LANGUAGE

CIRCULAR 002/3721

TO: ALL HANNA CITY BIODOME RESIDENTS
FROM: JUBILEE FRANKS, HANNA CITY BIODOME DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

DATE: 29th July 2023

Dear Colleagues,

Previous HR Circulars 001/3721 and 008/3720 advised of the standardization of communication procedures between Biodome Residents and Human Resources personnel, that the frantic shouting and waving and hand signs were unacceptable channels, even under conditions of red alert (most recently the low oxygen scare, spoiled energy brick supply, and velociraptor incident, to name a few). Please refrain from jumping up and down and screaming at HR. We are NOT authorized to interpret body language of any sort, and in fact us so doing would result in the needless endangerment of both Biosphere Residents, the Experiment, and the Residents of Hanna City. Do not try to shout at us through the glass: we CAN NOT HEAR YOU and are not permitted to make judgements based on such highly subjective criteria as waving and pointing. If you have an urgent message, such as something about a CO2 leak, or a Biodome Resident demonstrating aberrant behavior, or have run out of food, kindly use the BIODOME OUT intercom located on the third floor of the west wing. HR can not be held responsible for interpreting other forms of communication at this time.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your on-going support with the
provision of this dataset which continues to be a critical element to our Experiment. It is very much appreciated.

Yours sincerely,
Jubilee Franks
Hanna City Biodome Director of Human Resources
