PEORIA, ILL. Earlier today local passerby Javonis Mawston was struck by the beauty of debris falling from a local construction site, shortly before being struck by actual debris falling from the site, where workers were remodeling a top-floor penthouse. Javonis was hospitalized with head trauma and bruising, but may be released as early as tomorrow morning, depending on the results of further tests.
When asked whether it was worth suffering injury and possible death to experience the beauty of falling debris, Javonis readily assented.
‘I would get hit by falling debris every day if it meant I could be mesmerized like I was today,’ he told Gorko reporters as they cleaned out his bedpan. ‘It was really beautiful debris.’
