The Best Dollar He’d Ever Spent
Pablo sat in the almost empty train and put his feet up on the opposite seat.
A woman sat by his feet.
After a while, she said to him, ‘If you give me a dollar, I’ll massage your feet.’
Pablo looked up in surprise, hesitating for a moment.
‘Why not?’ He gave her a dollar, took his shoes off, leaned back, and closed his eyes.
She was good. Pablo had never felt so relaxed.
When he woke up, she was gone.
He quickly put on his shoes and got off the train.
It was the best dollar he’d ever spent.
