Reknowned actor, filmmaker, and author Leonard Nimoy has been causing a sensation ever since he started dabbling in the fashion business in the mid-80’s. For fashion designer Muriel Casey, however, his appearance at this year’s Blue Ribbon Fashion Week in Peoria was anything but expected.
See, Leonard passed away in 2015.
‘Leonard closed the runway show show in my tweed poncho and he absolutely nailed it,’ gushed Ms. Casey. ‘I had no idea he was going to wear my piece. In fact, I thought he had died!’
Mr. Nimoy did die, in 2015. That is why it was pretty weird to see him in Peoria this year.
