Darkwing is the literary pseudonym of our resident (he lives in my basement) movie reviewer Mitchell Kennedy, and that of his dog Amperstat Todd, whom he insists on calling Darkwing Dog while he is writing. He is the author of zero novels, no plays, and a collection of short stories with one very short and from what we can tell probably unfinished story in it.
This is what we found on the floor next to his typewriter yesterday morning.

“It always turns out this way,” lamented Juicy Flue through teeth the colour of the tears in the moon. (Pronounced TARES.) “We can only get so far into the crevasse!”
“Wiggle harder,” commanded her stern older sister, Crimson, from just a few feet above Juicy’s head. “This time we have got to make it!”
