Book Excerpt: ‘A Christmas At 10 Downing Street’ by Jasmine Kennedy

Tis the season of holiday cheer, and Mitchell Kennedy is getting in the spirit, this time writing under the pseudonym of Jasmine. We only wish he would take off that ladies tracksuit he bought at Goodwill.

A Christmas At 10 Downing Street

by Jasmine Kennedy

SYNOPSIS OF ‘A CHRISTMAS AT 10 DOWNING STREET’ (10 DOWNING STREET IS WHERE THE BRITISH PRIME MINISTER LIVES, IT IS LIKE THE WHITE HOUSE BUT IN ENGLAND)

When Raquel Rockafort gets the chance to travel to England for the first time, she goes there with butterflies in her tummy. It had always been her dream to visit Ye Olde Countrie and now it was about to come true! What she could not have guessed was the identity of the mysterious, ruggedly handsome man she met at the party she attended on her first night in London! He introduced himself as Jason, but if this is just any Jason, why does Raquel wake up at 10 Downing Street? Who are all of these bustling maids and redjackets standing at attention? Who is the old lady with white hair and a distinctly regal manner? Very soon Raquel will be forced to make the biggest decision of her life: to melt back into the crowd of sightseeing Americans, or spend Christmas at 10 Downing Street!

And that is as far as Jasmine got with this one. We are looking forward to getting our hands on a sample of the prose, which promises to be as purple and lurid as anything Mitch has ever written.
