Do you have the tools it takes to build a basic doghouse, or are you going to become the laughingstock of the neighborhood? Before you get out there and start sawing lumber, why not do a simple cross-check using The Gorko Virtual Toolbox? You might just save yourself a load of agony and embarrassment.
MEASURING TAPE
This is the thing you put on your belt.
A SAW
Do you have a saw? This is the long flat steel thing like a thin metal board but with teeth on one side for sawing. Saws are for sawing.
A HAMMER
Don’t pretend like you don’t know what a hammer is for. This is the thing that looks like a shark.
SOME NAILS
Nails are the things you better not step or sit on, along with chisels and table saws. They look like toothpicks but are metal and usually have one pointy end for sticking in places and a blunt end for hammering.
A DOG
If you are going to build a doghouse for the family you had better be sure you have a dog before you start. You wouldn’t be the first carpenter on the block who ended up sleeping in it.
Check back next week with The Gorko Virtual Toolbox to see what you need to avoid humiliating yourself in front of the neighbors painting the garage door.
