A bittersweet comedy centered around the Tesla Test Center for driverless cars in Fremont, California, Honk For Jesús, He Is In The Road follows brilliant but fallen-from-grace automotive engineer Jesús de Maria Hernández Ramírez as he searches for meaning off the fast track of competitive automotive engineering, trying to survive in a series of demeaning day jobs in which he just may, however, encounter the true love of his life, all the while carrying with him the secret plans that his former boss, baddie Flousterannie Jones (playing himself), desperately needs in order to perfect the Tesla auto-stop function.
