July 20th, 2022: Uncle Toby, out on a whale watching cruise with family, reportedly looked at a porpoise and said, ‘Look it’s a dolphin!’ despite having his Illustrated Marine Mammals of the Atlantic guide open to the page where it describes the difference between a porpoise and a dolphin.
‘We think he did it on porpoise,’ reported a childlike kin of the guilty party, with no expression whatsoever.
The misclassed mammal in question said with a sigh, ‘Sometimes we wonder just what is the porpoise.’
