Gorko Entertainment Editor Mitchell Kennedy has been hard at work in our shared bathroom on a series of YA science fiction novels called Love Dogs. These are books written with the help of his faithful friend, Ampersat Todd, a small white puppy. Read all about the fifth and six books of the (planned) series below.
BOOK 5: LOVE DOGS ON THE FROZEN PLANET
We meet our old friends the Love Dogs Ruby and Trotsky as they are guiding their disabled spacecraft through the Stacked Cans of Pet Chow, forced to ditch on the forsaken surface of the Frozen Planet. When they venture out they are quickly surrounded and barked at by the large, unpleasant master breed Snow Puppies. Breaking through the ring of enemies, Ruby and Trotsky run into the bleak landscape, only to tumble into an ice crevice, stumbling directly onto the ancient lost cult of Ice Dogs!
PROGRESS TO DATE: Mitchell and @Todd have been acting this one out in the basement and it seems to be reaching a conclusion. Anyway we told them they had until tomorrow to knock off the barking.
BOOK 6: DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR LOVE DOG IS?
Taking a breather apparently from the world-hopping science fiction adventures of Ruby and Trotsky and his other pet-o-nauts, Mitchell treats his readers to a closer, more brooding look at the life of Love Dogs in the day-to-day of Earth: Year 2385. Did you know that Love Dogs (Love Dogs apparently are just robot dogs) have itty bitty robot fleas? Or that they mate for life, if you push the code for that? And can speak more than 75 languages, or just bark stupidly if their comments get too annoying?
PROGRESS TO DATE: We were able to retrieve (retrieve get it) 14 chapters, all balled up and covered in eggshell and coffee grounds, from the kitchen trash.
