The newly formed Avian Party led by the House Wren held their first rally today. Wren ranted to the crowd like a decades-long dictator. Wren hopes to knock out the incumbent Brown-Headed Cowbird who’s lost footing ever since the story broke that she was sneaking into other bird’s nests and laying her own eggs.
The re-elected mayor, that overzealous dog, orders the Rottweiler police to track down an escapee squirrel. At present, the squirrel remains on the first Y branch of the oak tree, a mere two feet above the capture party.

Locally, murder rates are up, an increased number of rabbits are being taken down by Cooper’s Hawks, Great-Horned Owls, Red-Tailed Fox.
In the nation’s capital, the Sycamore aired an indifferent response to pre-storm’s line of questioning, instead her branches carried out music like a violin bow rasping on its strings.
Sports:
Currently the Clovers lead the Flora Division and have a one game lead on the Fescues. Let’s see if the Clovers can keep it up now that their #1 five-leaf player has a torn root stem.
Obituary Section:
Mr. Newman’s beloved cat Charlie, 21 years of age, was laid to rest Saturday in the backyard following an informal ceremony. He was adored for touring the neighborhood in search of head-rubs, meowing for hand-outs, and leaving paw prints in wet concrete.
