WhAT EXACTLY SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM
We have brought you here today in order to explain how the little matter of your free two cents of wisdom, which you insist on giving out left and right at every single family barbecue and well we don’t know what you do when you go downtown, or to the grocery store, or are at work, but is basically driving the entire advice market into a deep and very dangerous recession.
See you are basically flooding the market with solid gold, and it is threatening our very way of life.
YOU ARE TELLING ME DON’T TAKE ANY WOODEN NICKELS
Exactly! Yes that is exactly what we were hoping you would get through your thick uh, that is would understand, manage to grasp. When you accost people, buttonhole them as it were except literally grabbing them by the buttonhole so they can’t wriggle free, and harangue them about whatever has just crossed your mind, regardless of whether they have actual PhDs in the subject, well it goes a bit too far.
Yes, it is like the straw that breaks the camel’s back, or rather ounce of gold dust, if you prefer to think about it that way. It is too much good for one afternoon. Did Jesus go around performing all his miracles in the same place? No he did not, he spread them around so that they retained their value. And especially with the internet these days, kids are numb to good advice. There is in fact a lot of it out there already, outside of such barbecues, just flooding the market, and free to be had for anyone with a smart phone.
YOU CAN’T PUT A PRICE ON A BROKE-DOWN MULE
