Reports indicate that Boxer the Boxer has been forced to seek shelter in the dog house again. The situation, currently being monitored by Gorko cub reporter Nadira, apparently developed after an incident with a saucer of raw veal that was nudged from the countertop to the floor, resulting in a broken plate and floor covered in meat.
Boxer the Boxer was silent when asked about his role in the accident, but his face is guilty AF.
‘I think we should go with the lede that Boxer did it,’ sighed Nadira, whose mother had already concluded that Boxer was the one. ‘After all, if it wasn’t Boxer, it had to be Puffin,’ the family cat, who was purring happily on the windowsill in the sun the entire time.
The dog house is not of course a literal dog house, but a period of shunning by the matron of the house, normally reserved for husbands and significant others, but in rare cases such as the present applied to a literal dog.
Boxer the Boxer is sitting in the hall as we type this report, crestfallen and mournful.
