Lorena from South Peoria, who participated in our annual one-person Culture & Arts Survey, totally agrees that ‘Barn Dance Roy Rogers and Trigger’ was the Illinois State Fair Grandstand’s premier act this summer, beating out three barber shop quintets and the spectacular Honeypot Dreamers. (The Irish tap-dancers were not on this year’s ballot.)
‘I didn’t go to the Grandstand,’ protested the only person surveyed this year, ‘but whatever you put down is fine.’
