AND THEY ALL WORE UNDIES
with no pants or skirts
at the daily Zoom meetings,
that nobody could see,
not even them.
Their undies were covered
with desks or laptops or dogs.
But they looked good on Zoom
wearing company T-shirts
and holding company mugs.
CANCER LIVES
to eat.
It doesn’t care
how much it weighs.
Cancer isn’t a woman.
Obviously.
CHANGE
You would be so happy
if only I would change.
The only change I have to give
are quarters for your dollar.
Never Write Poetry When You’re Hungry
We were spoons
in bed
until you took
the wrong fork
in the road,
and you knifed me
in the butter.
