THE EURYTHMICS TRY TO PULL A FAST ONE by Nolcha Fox
Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart decided to reprise their 1983 hit, ‘Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese,’ by opening a cheese and cracker shop in Peoria.
Unfortunately, the cows who starred in the video were getting udder lifts and liposuction, and were unavailable to make American cheese for the grand opening. Lennox and Stewart had to settle for Cheese Whiz instead.
The shop closed immediately after the grand opening, because nobody showed up at the advice of Uncle Toby. ‘Don’t foist that plastic in a jar on us!’ Uncle Toby said. ‘This is America, and we want the real cheese!’
