Presidential Suite: Tempers, Temperatures, and Two Ex-Presidents (When Hissy Fits Make History)
by Zenith Knox
Editor’s Note:
In 2025, a reality show pitched by former First Ladies Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush surfaced from a defunct bipartisan streaming platform. Though it never aired, a White House intern leaked the series mockup on social media, saying it was ‘lit’. What follows is the synopsis and episode guide of Presidential Suite…
Season 1 Summary (7 Episodes | Comedy | TV-PG)
After their wives kick them out of their homes, Bill and George are forced to share an apartment in Washington, D.C. due to budget cuts at the Secret Service. As they navigate their new lives, their contrasting views on housekeeping, lifestyles, and politics create chaos.
Episode 1: Temperature on Climate Change
When Bill and George clash over the thermostat, debates over climate change heat up. They wage war over water usage and solar versus fossil fuels—shifting thermostat settings back and forth, plugging and unplugging appliances—to the point of sparking a power surge. Can these energy enemies reach an agreement before they trigger a building blackout?
Episode 2: Constitutional Crisis of Cards
Bill and George attempt a fresh start with a game of Texas Hold ‘em poker—by candlelight because of the power surge debacle. But when they find the Queen of Hearts under a couch cushion, Bill accuses George of cheating, ‘Just like you did in the 2000 Florida recount.’ Meanwhile, George fires back, ‘Only cheatin’ I’d take an oath on happened with you and a cigar in the Oval Office.’ Cards fly as if UFOs were released from declassified files, landing on scented candles that start a fire. Will these hotheads stop bickering long enough to save their apartment from going up in flames?
Episode 3: Food on the Hill
Deciding that fires are best kept to the grill, Bill and George head to Great Falls National Park—George to cook up a barbecue, and Bill for his daily jog. George surprises Bill with a spread of chicken legs and steaks, only to be insulted by Bill’s Secret Service delivering him a McDonald’s Big Mac meal. A tug-of-war over the bag ensues with cellphone cameras capturing a nuclear explosion of french fries and special sauce from the tussle. Can Secret Service break up the brawl before CNN and FOX News turn their lunch into a national scandal?
Episode 4: State of Their Union
After footage of their fight at the national park goes viral, Bill and George schedule a joint press conference to repair their image. In front of the bathroom mirror, Bill rehearses his speech which will exceed his 30-minute 1988 DNC doozy. Meanwhile, George gargles mouthwash, sings vocal scales, and practices opening the correct door—multiple times. When ‘Hail to the Chief’ plays, they race toward the media room and jostle for space at the podium, each determined to have the final word. Will they present a united front before their wives witness such childish behavior and press the divorce button?
Episode 5: Volunteer Strategery
To learn the basics of sharing and caring, Bill and George volunteer at an elementary school. Bill visits a classroom dressed in an itchy Santa suit, while George reads to the children. When Bill asks to alternate roles, George insists with a chuckle, ‘Only you can fill out that Santa suit.’ Bill retorts that George shouldn’t be anywhere near a book, ‘You’ve already mispronounced strategy three times.’ Candy canes are weaponized as insults are hurled. Can the kids disarm these presidential class acts with their holiday cheer?
Episode 6: Close Election Night
Al Gore crashes at Bill and George’s apartment after also getting kicked out by his wife. When Al sets the thermostat even colder than Bill, George finds himself relearning every lesson he already mastered with Bill. George gives Bill an ultimatum—send Al packing or lose their bipartisan friendship. Will Bill choose Al who shares Bill’s political views, or George who together with Bill has learned how to share, care, and compromise?
Episode 7: Hail to the Chiefs
Dick Cheney shows up at the front door (yep, he’s been kicked out by his wife, too). Realizing how much they’ve grown, Bill and George decide to leave the apartment to Al and Dick and reconcile with their wives. While George is asleep, Bill slips out on a midnight rendezvous with Hillary and a cigar after turning up the thermostat a smidge—thinking of George. George wakes to a less chilly apartment—thinking of Bill—and a knock at the front door. It’s Laura. Turns out she never threw him out. Like his 2005 press conference in China, he’d just locked himself out trying to enter through the wrong door.
